RDFI Joins Ministry of Agriculture At National Agriculture Fair 2025
The Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) in collaboration with the Rubber Development Fund Inc (RDFI), the Rubber Planters Association (RPAL) and other stakeholders hosted the National Agriculture Fair (NAF) 2025 under the theme “Empowering Farmers, Enriching the Nation.” The events took place at the LPRC Oil Terminal grounds in Ganta City, Nimba County from December 9–13, 2025.
Agriculture Minister Dr. J. Alexander Nuetah officially launched the activities, reaffirming the government’s commitment to empowering farmers and promoting food self-sufficiency across Liberia. Dr. Nuetah emphasized that the National Agricultural Fair remains a cornerstone of Liberia’s agricultural development agenda and said that the event serves as a national platform to honor farmers, strengthen market access, and highlight modern techniques shaping the future of food production. “When we empower farmers with the right tools and support, we empower the entire nation” he noted.
The three-day events brought together agripreneurs, farmers, chain farmers, agronomists, private sector actors, partners, and the media. The event also included exhibitions of local production, innovation and value addition, policy dialogues, youth competitions, and training sessions. Awards for outstanding farmers and cooperatives under several categories, recognizing excellence in productivity, innovation, and sustainability were presented to several personalities.
The Rubber Development Fund Inc (RDFI) was represented by its Board Chair, Mr. Togba Mulbah, Board Members John Howard and Wilhelmina Siaway and Executive Director Mr. William D. Johnson. Ms. Siaway is also the President of the Rubber Planters Association of Liberia (RPAL). The President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. Joseph Nyumah Boakai closed the event.
